András-Adrian TOTH
Originally from Hungary, he arrived in France in 1982,at the age of 18 years, to enlist in the Foreign Legion.
In 1987, he was posted to Austria at the French Embassy as head of security at the consulate.
Not having had enough adventures in the Legion, he took to the sea and crossed the Atlantic in 1990 on a 12-meter sailboat.
He settled in Marseille, earning a living from his caricatures in 1992, where he achieved some success. He also decorates the bay windows of restaurants in the old port and sells his humorous paintings to individuals.
He took his first steps in computer science and computer graphics in 1993, creating personalized wine labels for individuals in a wine cellar in Vienna, Austria.
Unable to detach himself from a country he had grown to love, he settled in France permanently at the end of 1993.
In 1994, he created (based on the texts of Pierre Trigano) the show and slideshow Les enfants de l'étoile merveilleuse, which was a success in the Languedoc-Roussillon region.
He trained as an animator with Henri Heidsieck at Jean-François Laguionie's La Fabrique cartoon studio in 1995.
In 2004, he was hired by Club Med, where he decorated events and shows at holiday villages as a GO decorator in France and abroad.
A self-taught artist, he learned to create websites for businesses and individuals.
He returned to the Legion family in 2016, settling at the Institut des Invalides in Puyloubier.
He was hired by Louis Perez Y Cid as a colorist for the comic strip "C'est la Légion" (2025).
Passionate about image animation, he continues to create humorous characters.
